Country superstar duo Dan + Shay will perform Aug. 6, 2023

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – ArtsQuest with media partner Cat Country 96 will welcome country duo Dan + Shay to serenade the crowds at Musikfest 2023. On Sunday, Aug. 6 the three-time GRAMMY award winners will perform their chart-topping, record-breaking hits on the Wind Creek Steel Stage. Member access begins Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 10 a.m., with remaining tickets on sale to the public at musikfest.org beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16. In the nine years since joining forces, Dan + Shay have amassed nearly 10 billion streams globally, accumulated 46 total RIAA Platinum and Gold certifications in the U.S. alone, took home three Grammy Awards and achieved nine No. 1 singles on country radio and spent 21 weeks at No.1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, the sixth longest run-in chart history!

In 2021, the duo collected their third consecutive GRAMMY award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, making them the first artist to win the category three consecutive times having previously taken home the golden trophy for 2019’s “Tequila” and 2020’s “Speechless.”

In 2020 Dan + Shay became the first country artist ever to take home the all-genre Collaboration of the Year trophy at the American Music Awards. They followed up in 2021 when they won the iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Duo/Group of the Year and in 2022 took home their third Top Country Duo/Group award win.

Currently the country superstars are climbing the country radio charts with their latest single “You” after debuting the song on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “You” is one of the 12 imaginatively crafted songs featured on their Platinum-certified fourth studio album, “Good Things.” The newest album features Platinum hits “I Should Probably Go to Bed” and “Glad You Exist” and global smash “10,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber.

A record-breaking 1,240,000 people attended Musikfest in 2022. The 11-day festival featured over 500 free performances, across 16 stages located throughout the City of Bethlehem. The 40th Musikfest is scheduled for Aug. 4 – 13, 2023. This year’s Musikfest 2023 poster artist is Allentown-based family Maltas Con Leche.
